If you are on active duty today, anywhere in the world, or have served during any eligible (see below) war eras, you are a veteran and you're eligible to become a member of The American Legion!  If you are the wife or daughter of a veteran, you are eligible to join The American Legion Auxiliary.  If you are the son of a veteran, you are eligible to join the Son's of the American Legion.
